The Carl Zeiss Foundation awards scholarships to outstanding young scientists from the STEM fields to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings.
Goals
The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings take place once a year. They are dedicated to the three Nobel Prize-winning scientific disciplines of physiology/medicine, physics or chemistry. By funding participation scholarships, the Carl Zeiss Foundation makes it possible for students, doctoral candidates and post-doctoral researchers from Baden-Württemberg, Thuringia and Rhineland-Palatinate to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. At the same time, the Foundation promotes and facilitates the networking of young scientists at national and international level, both within their respective disciplines and across disciplines.
