Our network

We promote science. In addition to financial support, we want to contribute to networking in the STEM disciplines. In particular, in our key topics of Artificial Intelligence, ResourceEfficiency and Life Science Technologies.

We have a large interdisciplinary network in which scientists can exchange information across locations and disciplines.

The focus is on funded research projects within our funding priorities as well as current topics of the scientific community.

Program-accompanying offers

... for currently funded scientists

For those currently receiving funding, the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung offers project measures in addition to financial support. One example is the existing "Prisma" program, which enables endowed professors to apply for additional funding quickly and unbureaucratically. Furthermore, additional events for scientific exchange - online and in presence - are planned. In 2021, for example, the networking meeting of the endowded professors took place with over 30 participants.

Funding programmes

... for our alumni

Former grantees of the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung will benefit in the future from networking meetings, privileged access to events and individual funding opportunities. Former fellows can register in our alumni portal. This enables them to become part of the "Carlumni network" and gain access to exclusive alumni offers.

Networking formats

... for Scientific Communities

The Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung is planning networking formats and events for current grantees, potential applicants, alumni and scientific communities in our main research subjects at the most important research locations in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Thuringia as well as at the headquarter in Stuttgart.
