    Network formats

    The CZS supports research in various thematic areas through individual and project funding.For former grantees, various networking formats are set up within the respective peer groups, but also inter- and intradisciplinarily. They are aimed at formerly funded professors and young researchers.

    Funding programs

    For our alumni, we offe additional funding opportunities with an international focus. Within our main topics Artificial Intelligence, ResourceEfficiency and MINT in general, national and international contacts shall be maintained, newly established and intensified.

     

    CARLUMNI NETWORK

    Our offer for former grantees who have registered in the CZS Alumni Portal and are thus members of the CARLUMNI NETWORK.

    Funding programs with a focus on international cooperation

    The Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung offers funding opportunities to former grantees to establish and maintain scientific, interdisciplinary networks on an international level.

    Participation in individual further qualifications

    Coaching, mentoring and further qualification will form a pillar in the portfolio of alumni support for former CZS grantees.

    Arranging exclusive access to events

    Building and maintaining networks is elementary for scientists. As a member of the CARLUMNI network, access to exclusive conferences will be facilitated by the provision of contingents.

    As a former endowed professor of the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung, I am interested in an alumni network. Such a network could support further communication, in-depth links among its members, and longer-term collaborations. In addition, the relationship to the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung would be visible internally and externally over many years.
