Prof. Dr. Christian Rödel, a professor at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences, plans to develop a compact EUV source and optimize components for EUV mask inspection and lithography that can be used in the latest chip fabrication machines in the EUV-4-LITHO project.
Two robotics solutions are being researched in the "JuBot" project: humanoid assistance robots that perform household tasks and assess situations independently, and exoskeletons with non-invasive interfaces to the human body.
Explainable AI methods are used to develop two complementary tools for the steel industry: MicroGrapher analyses the microstructure of existing steel. SteelDesigner calculates the composition of steel alloys before production.
