CZS Summer School
The CZS Summer School programme is offered on a permanent basis. A limited amount of funding is available per calendar year. If this amount is exhausted, the program will be advertised again at the beginning of the next year. Application forms can be filled out digitally and submitted via email.

What are the application requirement specifications?
The application for a CZS Summer School must include a specific teaching or research topic from the field of natural, life or engineering sciences (STEM) related to the CZS focus topics. The application must be submitted at least six months prior to the planned CZS Summer School.
Who is eligible to apply?
CZS Summer Schools is a funding program for currently funded endowed professors and junior scientists as well as for alumni of the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung. The prerequisite is current employment at a university or non-university research institution in
- Baden-Württemberg
- Rhineland-Palatinate
- Thuringia
To apply, alumni must be registered in the CZS Alumni Portal and have already received a completed grant from the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung.
