As an interface between the university, non-university research institutions and industry, the Research and Transfer Centre bundles competences in the field of learning systems such as big data, data science, machine learning/AI and robotics.

Goals

The Thuringian Centre for Learning Systems and Robotics (TZLR) is a joint institution of Thuringian universities and research institutions. It sees itself as a Thuringia-wide contact and interface between the university, non-university research institutions and industry.
The centre is intended to bundle Thuringia's competences in the field of learning systems such as Big Data and Data Science, Machine Learning/KI, robotics and their applications, to serve as a contact for companies and organisations and to contribute to improving the national and international visibility of Thuringia's research. The coordination and exchange of experience on research topics, teaching and further education in companies and public institutions is to be promoted in this way.
