Prof. Dr. Jürgen Kleine-Vehn was appointed as professor for Molecular Plant Physiology at the University of Freiburg starting December 2020. He previously taught and conducted research at BOKU Vienna, Austria.

Goals

The professorship deals with the growth and adaptation potential in plants controlled by phytohormones. The research addresses processes that are directly linked to agronomically relevant developmental processes such as surface enlargement or water and nutrient uptake.
