Prof. Dr Michèle Finck has taken over the endowed professorship for the law of artificial intelligence in Tübingen as of 01.07.2021. The chair is intended to meet the challenges of self-learning AI and Big Data to the value and legal system.

Goals

Research focuses on the legal implications of artificial intelligence, especially with regard to data law and data governance. Questions on artificial intelligence and sustainability as well as climate change are also in focus. The newly created chair benefits from the combination of AI and legal expertise at the University of Tübingen.
