Prof. Dr. Claudia Hildebrandt has held the professorship for computer science and its didactics at Heidelberg University of Applied Sciences since June 1, 2022. In addition to researching the performance characteristics of students, she is also concerned with the influence of further education measures.

Goals

Professor Hildebrandt's work focuses, among other things, on researching the characteristics of high-achieving students in computer science and developing concepts for diagnosis-based individual support in computer science teaching. Furthermore, she is concerned with the influence of further training measures on the self-efficacy expectations of computer science teachers. She has been involved in the planning and implementation of training courses for contemporary computer science teaching for several years. She studied mathematics, physical education, and computer science at the University of Oldenburg, where she also received her doctorate. Afterwards, she worked as a teacher and as a subject leader for computer science at the Studienseminar in Leer.
