The Robotics Hub promotes education and training as well as "knowledge and technology transfer" in the field of robotics in the Upper Rhine region. This is to enable cross-border cooperation between research and industry.
Goals
Trier University of Applied Sciences and Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences want to promote two lines with the Robotics Hub:
The first line, "Robot Hub Academy", aims to promote the education and training of pupils, students and employees from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the respective regions in the field of robotics and to generate enthusiasm for STEM courses of study through attractive measures. Support services such as feasibility studies as well as information events, training courses and network meetings are to be organized.
The second line "Robot Hub Transfer" is the establishment of networked robotics bases to form a Robotics Hub in the Upper Rhine region and Rhineland-Palatinate. The Robotics Hub is a one-stop partner for industry and an important instrument for "knowledge and technology transfer" in the field of robotics.
