Prof. Dr. Daniel Ziener has been appointed as professor of Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems at TU Ilmenau starting summer semester 2020. He previously taught and conducted research at the University of Twente, Netherlands.
Goals
The professorship focuses on reconfigurable systems with the aim of increasing their efficiency, reliability and safety. The further development of technical IT systems is essential for solving current and future challenges such as Industry 4.0 or climate protection.
