In the project, digital technologies and assistance systems are being developed to maintain or restore mobility in everyday life. These include mobility assistance robots, exoskeletons and intelligent training systems.

Goals

The aim of the project is to develop digital technologies and assistance systems tailored to the specific needs of the elderly population. The focus is on maintaining and restoring mobility in everyday life for different degrees of physical limitation. In addition to the construction of a mobility assistance robot and the new development and adaptation of exoskeletons, the project is concerned with the development of intelligent training systems and the critical evaluation of suits that simulate physical mobility in old age.
