The funding will enable Prof. Dr. Christoph Steinbeck, Professor of Chemometrics/Chemoinformatics, to tackle an ambitious and high-risk project based on existing preliminary work and thus open up new areas of science.

Goals

Natural products are a key to understanding interactions in ecosystems, but also form the basis of many pharmaceutical products. Their structure elucidation by means of deep neural networks integrated with deep learning methods is the goal of the project.
