The Prisma grant enables Prof. Dr. Doris Aschenbrenner, Professor of Digital Methods in Production at Aalen University, to expand her research on Industry 4.0 to include important socio-economic aspects.
Goals
The future of production work will be characterized by "hybrid intelligence": teamwork between plants, robots and software with humans. The project "Human in Command 4 Manufacturing" is about introducing a human-centered perspective in the field of Industrie 4.0. The interaction of human-technology-organization is seen here as the crux for the long-term success of innovations. Specifically, questions such as "How do companies shape the development and implementation of Industrie 4.0 innovations? How are the perspectives of users and beneficiaries integrated into the development process? How can companies successfully introduce Industrie 4.0 innovations (also in the interests of employees)?
