Prof. Dr. Norbert Schmitz has been appointed Endowed Professor of Health Behaviour, Prevention and Management at the University of Tübingen for the summer semester of 2021. He previously conducted research at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Goals
The professorship aims to establish the research field of prevention research. A suitable degree programme will be established. The professorship is also linked to the establishment of a new Centre for Mental Health.
Professor Schmitz's appointment was supported by the funding of material and investment resources, particularly in the area of digital phenotyping.
