"I AM A.I. - Artificial Intelligence Explained" is an interactive digital exhibition. In five "paths", it explores the core questions surrounding artificial intelligence. The complete exhibition can be seen as a touring exhibition from 2022.

Goals

The interactive exhibition explores the key questions surrounding artificial intelligence: How does a neural network learn? Why can a computer recognise which words I speak? Does an artificial intelligence make mistakes? What is training data? The paths include software programmes, pictures, videos, experiments and explanations. In addition, the contents of the exhibition are deepened in a video format together with an exhibition tutor. Neural networks are made tangible, handwriting recognition is trained, board games are played with an AI, an AI comic is presented and one of the most important methods of artificial intelligence, the gradient method, is illustrated. The content is aimed at all those interested from the age of 12 and is intended to strengthen the understanding of the function and opportunities of artificial intelligence. From 2022, the exhibition can also be experienced as an interactive touring exhibition with 12 exhibits in Heidelberg, Jena and Kaiserslautern.
