Prof. Dr Doris Aschenbrenner has been appointed Endowed Professor for Digital Methods in Production at Aalen University starting in the summer semester of 2021.
Goals
Her research focuses on "Operator 4.0" in the digitalised factory, including human-robot interaction with augmented reality. In addition to her work in Aalen, she teaches and conducts research at TU Delft and is active in numerous committees, including chairing the Advisory Board CLC Central in EIT-Manufacturing, being a member and topic patron in the expert dialogue within the framework of the "AI Observatory" of the BMAS and being a member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Enterprise Cybernetics at RWTH Aachen University. As co-founder of Awesome Technologies, she is also responsible for the company's research agenda. She received her diploma in computer science and her PhD from the University of Würzburg.
