CZS STEM-Forum for interdisciplinary dialogue

Topic: STEM impulses
Programme: CZS Individual funding
Funded institution:
  • Universität Koblenz

The CZS STEM-Forum at the University of Koblenz facilitates formats such as seminars, conferences, or workshops for interdisciplinary exchange between STEM scientists, offers support for young scientists and research, and supports regional networking.

Goals

The Carl Zeiss Foundation STEM-Forum for Interdisciplinary Dialogue (CZS STEM-Forum) provides a special structure for interdisciplinary exchange at the University of Koblenz. The work of the CZS STEM-Forum focuses on three fields of action:

  • Expansion of interdisciplinarity in the STEM-subjects.
  • Targeted promotion of young scientists and research support for STEM scientists
  • Cooperation and networking of the university with regional partners and beyond.

The CZS STEM-Forum provides new avenues for collaboration across disciplines and serves as a catalyst for interdisciplinary dialogue. To this end, a program consisting of various event formats and accompanying measures specifically addresses the individual needs of (young) scientists. Thus, it creates a framework for the development and implementation of innovative research ideas and individual advancement. The CZS STEM-Forum is located at the Interdisciplinary PhD and Postdoc Center (IPZ) at the University of Koblenz.
