The German Artificial Intelligence Competition encourages students with strengths in mathematics, computer science or physics to develop creative solutions to the challenges of the future. The foundation supports this project as the main sponsor.

Goals

The Federal Artificial Intelligence Competition starts annually in spring and is aimed at students between the ages of 14 and 19. Individual entries and teams of up to four people are permitted.

In 2019, the national competition was launched for the first time.
Since 2020, the Carl Zeiss Foundation has been the main sponsor of the competition. The patronage is held by the Chairwoman of the Foundation Administration of the Carl Zeiss Foundation, Minister Theresia Bauer.
