An experience center is to be built around the life and work of Albert Einstein in his native city of Ulm. For this purpose, the conception and development of exhibits in the future exhibition building will be funded.
Goals
Albert Einstein's scientific achievements are important to this day as the basis for scientific research and development. In order to illustrate this more clearly in Einstein's city of birth, Ulm, the Carl Zeiss Foundation is funding the construction of an experience center around the life and work of Albert Einstein.
In addition to an interactive technology exhibition and a science center, the life of the Ulm born scientist will also be highlighted. Multimedia installations will provide an insight into life around 1879. A technology exhibition provides an understandable and entertaining introduction to the world of his theories and illustrates the connections between science, technology and everyday life. Around 250 to 300 experiment stations are to be set up in the Science Center to introduce visitors to technical and scientific phenomena and interrelationships.
In order to realize the construction of the discovery and experience center around the life and work of Albert Einstein, the Carl Zeiss Foundation is funding the launch with 70,000 euros as part of the "The First 11" campaign.
