Programme: CZS Individual funding
Funded institution:
  • Max-Planck-Institut für Intelligente Systeme

The Cyber Valley AI Incubator is a multi-week training program for AI scientists in the field of start-ups.

Goals

The "AI Incubator" aims to support scientists with start-up ideas in pursuing them beyond an early stage of development. To this end, a multi-week program is offered that includes further training, networking opportunities and coaching in the field of entrepreneurship. The program is aimed at participants from the entire Cyber Valley consortium and requires an application based on scientific transfer ideas.

As part of the program, participants work in interdisciplinary teams of two to six members on practical, AI-related innovation challenges. Key aspects of founding a company are covered in face-to-face and online sessions, including team and vision, market and customer, business model and financing, prototyping and networking, pitching and legal basics. The program concludes with a demo day on which the teams present their projects to a jury of industry leaders, investors and experts and have the opportunity to win an award.
