The FORUM communication and meeting center serves interdisciplinary exchange. With conference and meeting rooms, it is being built in downtown Jena.
Goals
Communication and encounter are essential components of science. The discussion of scientists among themselves, with business and society creates new perspectives – and thus innovation. In order to implement this even better in the science network in Jena, the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung is funding the construction of a communication and meeting center for interdisciplinary exchange at its founding location. The funding of 20 million euros is one of the foundation's largest single grants to Friedrich Schiller University.
