In the ‘CZS Transfer’ programme, the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung promotes outstanding research at universities of applied science.
Goals
The purpose of the ‘CZS Transfer’ programme is to establish and expand application-oriented research at universities of applied sciences. In doing so, it contributes to the transfer of knowledge to benefit the economy and society.
The funding amount under the ‘CZS Transfer’ programme is up to 1,200,000 euros per project over a period of up to four years.
The applying university decides for itself which type of funding is appropriate for its project.
Eligible are:
- scientific and technical personnel including material resources
- large-scale equipment and research infrastructures
- networking activities
Selection procedure
Funding projects are selected through competition and based on excellence criteria in a two-stage review process.
