CZS training

In cooperation with external partners, the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung offers further training with different specialisms for its current and former funding partners.

Goals

As a foundation that promotes science, we offer our funding recipients and registered alumni further added value. Together with national and international partners, we provide exclusive free or low-priced contingents for further training formats. The face-to-face events and/or online webinars are aimed at scientists at all career levels.

Among others, the following are eligible (depending on the specific offer):

  • Project leaders who are managing a CZS-funded project
  • Professors involved in a CZS project
  • Doctoral candidates involved in a CZS-funded project,
  • Postdoctoral researchers or junior research group leaders who are funded by CZS
  • CZS endowed professors
  • Former funding recipients registered in the Alumni portal

Selection procedure

All applications submitted for participation in further training are checked in terms of form and content.  If the number of registrations exceeds the number of available places, a decision is made by lottery.
