CZS Nature Masterclasses in Scientific Writing and Publishing

Goals
The CZS Nature Masterclasses in Scientific Writing and Publishing provide key information and skills to improve the quality and visibility of publications. Two workshop series are offered:
- For doctoral candidates from 13 to 17 November 2023, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day.
- For professors and postdocs from 27 to 30 November 2023, from 10 am to 12:30 pm.
The workshops are all held online and in English.
What are the application requirement specifications?
The prerequisite is that the applicant is currently funded by the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung through an ongoing individual or project grant. Formerly funded individuals are eligible to apply, provided they are registered as alumni on the Alumni portal.
To participate, an application form must be submitted.
The number of participants is limited. If the number of applications exceeds the available places, the decision will be made by lottery.
Who is eligible to apply?
The CZS Nature Masterclasses are open to all
- current funding recipients (professors, project leaders, postdoctoral researchers, junior research group leaders, doctoral candidates) as well as
- registered alumni.
Duration
The CZS Nature Masterclasses will take place in three workshop series in November 2023. An application for participation must be submitted by 6 October 2023.
